Our Story

Ok storytime.. Every time I went online to buy swimwear (usually right before an expensive trip I probably couldn’t afford, but hey, priorities), I was often stuck choosing between two extremes: skimpy bikinis that looked great in pictures but were useless for actual movement, or overly modest swimsuits that looked more suited for professional cycling. Neither worked for me, and I’d end up scrambling to find something decent at my destination—usually with zero luck.

On a trip to the Philippines, I thought I had finally found the perfect bikini top—secure enough for all my water adventures. But the ocean had other plans. One enthusiastic dive later, I was flailing in the water, desperately trying to reclaim both my bikini top and my dignity. That’s when it hit me: why is it that the lacey little numbers we wear under our clothes hold up better than the swimwear we wear when we’re literally the most exposed?
